TKDWN national california pennsylvania new jersey illinois girls ncaa news Hot News 2023 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS ROCCO WELSH DANIEL ZEPEDA PRESEASON NCAA RANKINGS This weekend, the Senior team takes to the mat in this year’s World Championships. The big news this week was the announcement that Russian athletes, Sidakov and Sadulaev, have been deemed eligible to compete. That sets up another showdown between the top wrestler in the world, Sadulaev, and his American rival, Kyle Snyder. A couple new faces in the Team USA line up in Vito Arujau and Chance Marsteller will look do their part to bring back a team medal. Of course, familiar names join Snyder in Kyle Dake, Dave Taylor, and Zain Retherford. Also should be noted, star heavyweight Gable Steveson qualified for the team but has withdrawn from competition allowing Mason Parris to step in to fill the void. Wrestling begins September 16th through the 24th.
